```Short Introduction```

Okay I know the title is kinda crappy haha, sorry “klyde”. It’s just I’m indecisive about choosing titles so I asked my friend to think of a title for me, and so “hunting hearts” is what she suggested, XD..... Anyways you may think this story is boring, well I don’t know, It’s for you to find out, so please just read it and tell me what you think about it. If I have errors or wrong grammar I’m sorry! I’m only 13! >_<

Ps. My story is original and I didn’t copy it from anyone or any book. This story is inspired from my favorite anime :3

~Hunting Hearts-Prologue~

 

                    I sat on a chair as I looked at myself in front of a mirror, curious. My mother picked up a pink brush and started brushing my hair.
                    “What’s the matter dear? It looks like something’s bothering you?” my mother said.

                    “Umm... Mother what does it feel like to be a human?” I asked

                    “Well... I actually don’t know deary, but they say humans can feel everything, the Earth, the sea, the wind and the trees.” She answered.

                     “I want to be a human!” I demanded.

*BLAGG!!!*
She gave me a spank....

                     “ My God Lhia!!! You should be proud that you are an angel! I mean you’ve got everything you need here in Heaven! You should be contented!” my mother angrily said.

                     “Can’t  I have a peek on what’s going on in Earth? Or maybe just one step on Earth?” I said.

                   “Lhia! You know better than I do that an angel going down in Heaven is forbidden!!! There are demon’s lurking down there on Earth, they might eat your soul!” she terrifyingly said.

                    “Do they really do that?” I asked.

                    “Demon’s are God’s enemy! Our enemy! They are evil and heartless, they temp humans to do cruel things and they fiest on the souls of angels like you.” She angrily said. “I don’t want to hear any of this anymore! You got that Lhia?” she stopped brushing my hair and slammed the door as she went outside of the room.

                      I can’t help but thinking what life is like down there on Earth. I want to take a peek but I don’t want my soul to be eaten by a demon! Ever since I came here in heaven, Earth became dangerous for us angels to explore because of the increasing of sinful people and demons there.

                        I looked at myself again in the mirror, I was staring at a 15 year old girl with brown hair that stretch above her elbows and she had an ordinary face.... She was wearing a simple white dress... Yes, that is me... My name is Lhia, and no I’m not a ghost or a white lady, I’m just an angel. I’ve lived here in Heaven for as long as I can remember, maybe it was after I died when my human mother gave birth to me... I’m not sure though because when humans die they forget everything on Earth except for their name.

                 
                        “LHIA!!! Hurry Up! Were gonna be late!” my mother shouted from downstairs. Today is ‘angel wing’ ceremony... It’s basically a sacred ceremony where angels at the age of 15 get blessed to give them wings. I certainly don’t want to participate in it, the truth is angel  wings can only be used on Earth by special angels called “Guardianes”. Guardianes are powerful angels that are sent to Earth to guard the remaining good humans on Earth. 

                        

                        I stood up and quietly opened the door, I sneaked down the stairs avoiding a single sound and out of the main door. I planned to escape the ceremony, I’ll come home after it’s finish! :D

                     Just when I was about to take my first step out of the house my mother saw me out of her window...

                    “Lhia!!! Where do you think you’re going?!?!” she furiously said. Oh no, this is not good! RUN!!! I started running away from the house, I tried to look for a place where I can hide. I tried hiding behind a tall green hedge... *phew* I guess nobody will spot me here... I tried observing the place where I hid, I saw a pathway stretching in front of me, I followed it until I reached the end. I was surprised to see a door at the end of the pathway with a guardiane standing in front of it. I hid behind a tree :3

                 

                      Suddenly, the guardiane looked left and right to see if there was anyone who was watching him, I guess he does not notice me. He gently opened the door and light came flashing from inside, he slowly went inside the door and he just disappeared! The door quickly closed by itself! I was surprised and at the same time curious, I stood up and went in front of that door... My curiosity is tingling! It’s telling me to open this door, I slowly opened it and bright light quickly flashed in my eyes, I was slowly being sucked inside this door, I panicked. 

                   “Oh my god! Kyaaa!! Help me out through this God and I wont dream about going to Earth anymore!!!” I prayed....

                     But my prayers were ignored... I can’t see anything except for bright light! I closed my eyes and I feel like standing on thin air, then I was slowly falling faster and faster... Omigosh! I thought to myself, this is the end of my angel days...!

                     “Kyaaaaa!!” I screamed my last scream.... until.... 

*BLAAGG!*

                     I’ve landed at last...  I opened my eyes (huh? I can still open my eyes?) I searched my body for wounds and fractures... there were NONE! Oh yeah... I forgot I’m already dead... so how can I possibly die? XD I stood up and looked around. Hmmm...  where the heck am I? There were trees surrounding me, and there were people wearing strange colourful clothes, when I tried to approach someone they just ignored me, no one seems to notice me as they pass by... could it be? Green grass? Brown soil? Humans? Can it be that I am here on EARTH?!? I can’t believe it, I was so happy, I made it! I’m on Earth! This is like the happiest day of my life! But suddenly  a thought came into my mind and it keeps echoing in my ears...

H-O-M-E!!!!

                     “Gaaahh!!!” I shouted Oh my god! How can I go HOME?!?  Ahhh! This is bad, this is BAD! And what’s worse... DEMONS! Oh my gosh, I don’t want my soul to be lunch! How the heck do I go home?!?!... I panicked! Okay... relax Lhia, you can do this! I tried walking on a strange street with less people but many moving vehicles, I tried talking to someone but they don’t even notice me! Then, I saw an old lady trying to cross a street, I wonder if she could help me, or I could help her cross the street? Crossing that street with all those fast running cars at her age is impossible! I decided to help her but just before I was about to get to her side of the road, I saw someone unfamiliar going towards the little old lady...

                    He was a tall guy wearing black clothes and he has greyish white hair and eyes that were red as blood, I can feel his dark aura ... I can’t see his face clearly though because he’s on the other side of the road. Hey wait a minute... eyes that are bloody red?!? Dark Aura?

                    I can remember what my mother told me when I was little, it would be that demons have the same characteristics as this guy! So... Oh my God! He’s a demon! Kyaa! I hid behind a tree and observed him. My mother’s words this morning kept on echoing in my head. (Observing) He stopped walking when he finally reached the little old lady, He gently placed his hand on the little old lady’s head... huh? What’s he gonna do? Will he push that helpless old lady on the road?!? 

                    Then suddenly the old lady started walking as the demon did too. When the demon stopped for a bit she did too then a little later they got to the other side of the road where I’m standing now. He released his hand from the old lady and she walked away from him, farther and farther. Omigosh! Are my eyes fooling me or did a DEMON just helped the old lady cross the street? He is a demon and yet he did a good thing? Why? All my life I have been told that demons are evil and they only temp humans to do cruel things, but all those stuff they told me faded away like ashes when I saw this demon. Wait, if he’s nice then maybe he could help me go home! But what if he eats me? Ugh... I need him to help me, this is the only choice I’ve got! 

                      He was at least 5 meters away from me, he was facing backwards so he can’t see me...Oh no, he’s walking away! Alright! It’s now or never... I’ll call him >_<

                    “Hey!” I shouted after I came out from behind the tree. He stopped walking and turned his head to look at me... O_O

                    I suddenly became speechless... It was like a lightning struck my heart when I saw his face! I was enchanted by his looks, it was like time stopped and I couldn’t stop to look at him... His eyes were red as blood, his skin was pale as snow and his nose and lips were perfect. He was not monstrous at all! In fact I think it’s love at first sight for my heart beats faster and faster, louder and louder. He’s the most handsome demon I saw, well that’s because he’s the only demon I ever saw.

                    “Are you gonna stare at me all day?” he seriously said. And by that, the story of my life began.
